I threw a baby shower for a friend earlier this month (with an adorable cowboy theme!). It was a ton o’ fun and I got some great photos I think. At the end of the day I wanted some photographic evidence of myself, to prove that for one day I wore more than pajamas and did my hair and “put my face on”. So I got in the pictures with my kids. The kids are being themselves trying to wiggle away at every moment and per usual no one can focus a lens so I’m soft in every frame. I’ll probably appreciate the blur of my ever expanding repertoire of wrinkles when I am old and have no smooth skin to speak of. Probably.
