Kevin’s car needed to be fixed to a grand total of more than $300. $300 may not seem like a lot to some of you (you lucky bastards) but it is a lot to me. It also happens to be our cheapest car repair yet. But that’s not the point of this thing. The point is -
We paid for it in full, straight out of my bank account.
Paid for it.
IN FULL.

Avelyn’s growing up too. In fact she recently discovered that she herself had a baby. I’m not sure what the baby did to get Avelyn to notice her, but Baby Cupcake (it’s a work in progress) just looooooves to be rocked by her Little Momma.

I just thought we are having so much fun at bath time now that I wanted to share a few clips from our night. And by fun I don’t mean the toys being thrown from the tub that smack me in the head, the screaming that commences on Operation Clean Hair night or the water poured all over the floor followed by outrageous laughs of glee. I swear, she has such an infantile sense of humor.
I am very jealous of your grown up paid in full repair.
1) Claire just noticed her baby the other day…I have a 4 min. video of her giving baby a drink from her cup, her binky, covering her, hugging and rocking her, kissing her…it makes me melt into a puddle of love on the floor watching it. How do these girls do things just days apart!!?!?
2) The bath video…WOW, Avelyn is smart as a whip. She knows all the animal sounds, and they sound so cute coming from a baby, err toddler mouth.

And that video is sooooooo cute. I only got to see Avelyn in person one time and she was sleepy. I must see her again!
(Also, I *love* when toddlers “kiss” MOUTH WIDE OPEN… eating Baby Cupcake’s face. Hehe. But with a name like “Baby Cupcake,” it makes sense.)

I just wish I could say the same for a lawyer bill – 1. that I could pay it in full and 2. that it would only be $300.

Oh my, she is so sweet I could eat her up. How I miss those baby babble-y first words! I can’t wait until my baby starts actually talking and not screaming “MAMA!” and smacking me in the head.
